Saudi stock market index closes lower

Riyadh: The main Saudi stock market index closed Tuesday with a decline of 71.87 points, settling at 11,706.21 points, with trading values amounting to SR 5.4 billion.

A total of 264 million shares were traded, with shares of 72 companies recording gains, while 161 companies saw their shares decline.

Meanwhile, the parallel Saudi stock market index (Nomu) edged up by 3.11 points, closing at 30,613.74 points, with trading values amounting to SR 27 million and 1.5 million shares exchanged.
