As part of its National Reading Campaign, Qatar Foundation invites children and their families to take part in Characters' Village event. Education City's Ceremonial Court will come alive with six story book characters including Little Red Riding Hood, Pinocchio and Sinbad the sailor. Children will be taken into a mini world of fantasy and fun.
With different educational activities set up in separate closely situated zones, children can learn through play at the storytelling area, maze station and an ‘Alice’ exploration zone, among many other new and exciting events that will be unveiled over the weekend.

A fun-filled winter activities programme aimed for children in the age group of 4 and 8 years. The two hour activities include bouncing castle, sports activity, scooter ride, colouring station accompanied by healthy food.

Doha String Quartet and Arabian Adventures Qatar bring back the magical evening created last year with its next edition of White Night in the Desert. Apart from the usual beach activities such as beach volleyball, sand boarding, swimming, dune bashing, there will be a musical journey through different styles of music from early Baroque to modern day. The dress code for the evening is white.

Arts and craft fair, games, face painting, musical performance are just some of the events happening at the Winter Carnival. There would be over 40 vendors at the event. What's more the proceeds from the fair will support our ‘Sponsor a Child’ charitable activities, in conjunction with Qatar Charity.

For the first time in Qatar, 108 world class golf players will battle it out on the course until November 26. Apart from golf, visitors can also try various sports activities such as badminton, handball and volleyball. Interesting entertainment competitions for children such as ball-dribbling challenge and a ball-in-a-bucket will also be held at the event.
