Doha: Qatar Central Bank yesterday announced the Qatari banks’ readiness to officially launch the mobile payment service Google Pay in the country after completing the necessary tests.
In a tweet, the QCB reiterated that all global digital wallet services for cards such as Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, and Google Pay are now accepted in Qatar, enabling visitors especially during the World Cup to process and complete their digital payments.
