Men's football kicks off sports programme at Paris Olympics

Paris: The 2024 Olympics sports programme began on Wednesday as two men's football matches kicked off at the same time in Paris and Saint-Etienne.

Group-stage games between Spain and Uzbekistan in the French capital and Argentina and Morocco in Saint-Etienne marked the start of competition in the sporting extravaganza.
