Wellkins Medical Centre, a new multi-specialty medical centre in Doha, is partnering with Al Mahra Optics, Al Muntaza to organise a free eye camp for residents on May 27.
The camp will take place at Wellkins Medical Centre located at Ramada Signal Doha, opposite to Westin, with checkups available from 8.30am to 12.30pm and 4pm to 9pm. Services offered include free vision checkups, consultations with ophthalmologists, and special discounts on lenses and frames.
Dr. Asha Ann Jacob, Specialist Ophthalmologist at Wellkins Medical Centre, emphasised the importance of regular eye screenings, stating, “Annual eye exams are crucial for ensuring clear vision and monitoring overall eye health. It is recommended that everyone, especially those over 50 and individuals with uncontrolled diabetes, undergo a yearly eye checkup to maintain good eye health and clear vision.”
Dr. Sameer Moopan, Chairman & Managing Director, expressed his delight in collaborating with Al Mahra Optics to provide this free eye camp for residents. He encouraged everyone to take advantage of this opportunity to prioritise their eye health.
