Top officials of Manweir LLC after the inauguration of the new engineering and service facility at Ras Laffan Industrial City.
DOHA: With the inauguration of a new engineering and service facility recently, Manweir LLC, a subsidiary of Mannai Corporation, has expanded its footprint at Ras Laffan Industrial City, a press statement said yesterday.
The facility was inaugurated by the Director, Industrial Cites, Abdel Aziz Al Muftah, under the patronage of the Minister of Energy and Industry H E Dr Mohamed bin Saleh Al Sada on Thursday.
Manweir has made a technological advancement by investing into the ‘state-of-the-art’ engineering facility at Ras Laffan. The subsidiary has been serving the onshore and offshore oil and gas majors, petrochemicals, power, marine and industrial sector for the past 37 years.
The event was attended by around 300 dignitaries from upstream and downstream companies from Qatar and the Middle East region. The event was also celebrated as Manweir-Siemens Customer Day to mark its newest association with Siemens, a global powerhouse. Siemens have endorsed this facility as their authorised service centre to repair and overhaul their industrial steam turbines and compressors under their supervision.
