Doha: Qatar is likely to receive scattered rain from Sunday until the middle of the week that may turn thundery in some areas at some times, said the Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD) on its Twitter handle.
From Saturday, February 25, the amount of clouds will increase across the country, according to QMD.
"It is expected that the amount of clouds will increase over the country from Saturday 25/2/2023, and chances of scattered rain will develop from Sunday 26/2/2023 until the middle of the week, it may be thundery at times," the QMD said.
QMD also announced that today, February 24, the Abu Samra area recorded the lowest temperature at 12°C, while the temperature reached 17°C in Doha.
QMD calls on everyone to take extra precautions as the country expects showery weather in the coming days and to follow the latest weather updates through official sources.
