Birla Public School Kids Valley celebrated its 13th Annual Sports Day on January 19. The event started with an honouring ceremony for the dignitaries to the stage by the slow march.
Chief Guest Yasmian Al Sharshani, female golfer athlete in the Middle East; Guest of Honour Siham Alawami, Director of Special Projects at ICSS; Gope Shahani, Vice-Chairman;C V Rappai, former chairman;Nevile Luckose Chacko, Member of the Academic Subcommittee; Principal A K Shrivastava; Vice-Principal Shirly Rappai & Administration Manager Joseph, were present.
The sports day began with the March past followed by the lighting of the torch. Qatar National Anthem was played. There were colourful drill displays, by KGI & KGII kids. Our little beginners show cased a few yoga exercises. The Karate drill brought out daring qualities of children and its mesmerising stunts. Out tiny tots raced their way through amasing and fun races.
