Doha: The Arab Council for Social Responsibility (ACSR), in partnership with the League of Arab States (LAS), has awarded Minister of Social Development and Family H E Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad the Arab Women Award for Social Responsibility, during the 4th edition of the Arab Women's Conference for Social Responsibility held in Cairo under the title “Creativity, Innovation, Development between Leadership and Digitization”.
The Minister of Social Development and Family received this honouring, which was held remotely, in recognition of her effective role in the field of human development and the promotion of community building, as well as empowering people with disabilities and contributing to awareness and strengthening the protection of the rights of these groups.
The Arab Council for Social Responsibility, a member of the United Nations Global Compact, is a platform for community development in the Arab region and the exchange of experiences in this field. It comprises a number of partners at the national, regional and international levels.
