Doha, Qatar: Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani met Sunday with the United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator, HE Tom Fletcher, who is on a visit to the State of Qatar.
The two sides discussed the cooperation ties between the State of Qatar and the United Nations, in addition to the developments in the region, particularly in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories.
The Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs emphasized the importance of concerted regional and global efforts to ensure the unhindered flow of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.
