Doha: The US Special Envoy for Afghan Women, Girls, and Human Rights HE Rina Amiri toured the temporary facilities allocated for housing and caring for the Afghan citizens, who are temporarily being hosted by the State of Qatar until they reach their final destinations.
During the tour, Amiri met with Afghan women in the temporary facilities, reviewed their conditions and the services provided to them as well as their educational, sports, recreational and health facilities.
She expressed the United States of America's appreciation for the efforts the State of Qatar exerted to care for and host families and children who have been evacuated from Afghanistan.
