Cairo: The work of the 30th meeting of the Arab Counter-Terrorism Experts Group was held yesterday at the General Secretariat of the Arab League headquarters.
The State of Qatar participated in the meeting with a joint delegation from the Ministries of Justice and Interior.
A press release issued by the Arab League stated that the meeting discussed many important axes, including terrorist organizations, the phenomenon of terrorist fighters, online terrorism, challenges related to new channels of financing terrorist organizations, strengthening cooperation with the United Nations, its bodies and committees concerned with combating terrorism, and international and regional organizations, and exchanging views on the existence of a link between terrorist acts and organized crime.
The efforts and experiences of Arab countries in the field of combating terrorism to benefit from the successful experiences in this field were also presented.
