Doha: Minister of Transport H E Jassim Saif Ahmed Al Sulaiti met with Minister of Transport of the brotherly Republic of Iraq, H E Nasser Hussein Al Shibli, in Ministry offices yesterday.
The meeting discussed aspects of cooperation in the fields of transportation, maritime transportation, harbours, and civil aviation and means of further enhancing them, in addition to several topics that interest the two countries. The meeting was attended by Ambassador of Iraq H E Omar Ahmed Al Barzanji.
Minister of Transport H E Jassim Saif Ahmed Al Sulaiti and Minister of Transport of Iraq H E Nasser Hussein Al Shibli paid a visit to Doha Metro where they inspected its operations and were briefed on the aspects of the project by officials representing Qatar Rail. Ambassador of Iraq to Qatar H E Omar Ahmed Al Barzanji participated in the visit.
