WOQOD has responded to a video shared on some social media that shows insects inside 'Shafaf' gas cylinders.
The company said in a statement posted on its Twitter handle: "With reference to a video that was recently circulated on some social media accounts, which showed presence of insects in "SHAFAF" cylinders, "WOQOD" confirms that gas cylinders leave the factory after getting washed and sterilized to make sure there are no insects in it."
The company emphasized that it "encourages gas cylinder distributors to observe hygiene and safety procedures when storing the cylinders."
