Doha: Qatar University (QU) announced the opening of applications for student financial aid services for the fall 2022 semester for undergraduate students who are facing financial difficulties in covering their educational expenses. The first application period started yesterday, August 21 until September 1.
University students who meet the conditions for applying for monthly aid service, exemption from transportation fees, emergency aid, and financial aid programmes financed by external institutions can apply during this period.
As for the external institutions concerned, they are the Jassim and Hamad Bin Jassim Charitable Foundation, which offers a rewards programme and a university student support programme, the Nama Social Centre, which offers Tamkeen programme, the Afif Charitable Foundation, which offers the Siraj programme, and the Seashore Group, which provides the educational financial aid program for the group.
While the second period is between September 11 to 22. This includes the possibility of applying for monthly aid service, exemption from transportation fees, emergency aid, payment of tuition fees financed by the university, university housing fees financed by the university, and the rewards programme of the Jassim and Hamad bin Jassim Charitable Foundation.
