Electronic signboards in Qatar that warned motorists of driving carefully or wearing their seatbelts were updated today morning to congratulate Qatar Emir on the safe return of the kidnapped citizens from Iraq.
Public Works Authority Ashghal updated its electonic signboards to project various messages written in Arabic. One of the messages translated to read as, "We congratulate the Emir and the Qatari people on the safety [safe return] of their sons."
Meanwhile this gesture by Public Works Authority was appreciated on the social media. Deputy President of Qatar Central Municipal Council Eng Hamad Lahdan Almohannadi tweeted on his account appreciating the gesture by Ashghal.

The citizens who returned yesterday were part of a Qatari hunting party that was kidnapped in mid-December 2015 during a trip in southern Iraq.
