Doha: Commander of Air Transport Group of Qatar Amiri Air Force Brigadier General Pilot Mishaal Ibrahim Al Nasr affirmed that participation in the 7th edition of Doha International Maritime Defence Exhibition and Conference (DIMDEX 2022), which kicked off yesterday at the Qatar National Convention Centre, reflects the huge expansion and great development achieved by the Amiri Air Force in recent years.
In a statement to Qatar News Agency (QNA) on the sidelines of DIMDEX 2022, the commander of the air transport group of Qatar Amiri Air Force explained that the Qatar Amiri Air Force presents at this international event the modern systems it has acquired in recent years, reflecting the great progress it has made to keep pace with challenges, preserve the state’s gains, and fulfil its obligations as an effective member of the international community. Brigadier General Pilot Mishaal Ibrahim Al Nasr said that the Qatari Amiri Air Force greatly contributed to achieving the state’s vision by providing humanitarian aid, such as transporting the displaced, as in Afghanistan, and the participation of its fighters within international alliances. Moreover, these participations reflect the effectiveness of the State of Qatar and its great role in achieving security and stability in the region and the world, and in helping afflicted peoples and poor communities in various regions, he added.
On participation in DIMDEX 2022, he explained that the Qatari Amiri Air Force displays modern systems, fighters, and helicopters, as well as air transport aircraft, drones, and others.
