Fans heading for the finals between English giants Liverpool and Flamengo of Brazil at the Khalifa International Stadium have been urged to arrive early to avoid long queues.
Those who dont have tickets can head to the fanzone set-up near the Golf Club to enjoy the match on a big screen. The fan zone have entertainment options for the families and it was big hit for the semi-final.
Passengers can get down at Al Qassar station on the Red Line and board the shuttle service provided by the Supreme Committee which will take them to Fan Zone. This shuttle service operates every 10 minutes.
Fans heading towards Khalifa stadium can take the Doha Metro Gold Line to get to Sport City station which is only few minutes walk. On Wednesday for the semi-final a majority of fans were seen travelling on Doha Metro for the match.
"Get the Metro to the match! You can get to Khalifa International Stadium by taking the Gold Line to Sport City! Please allow extra travel time as we expect a very busy service on match days!," Doha Metro tweeted.

Fans with tickets van also get a free day pass to use on the trains the whole day.

Organisers had also tweeted earlier urging fans to arrive early for match at Khalifa International Stadium in order to avoid traffic and long queues.They also remined all ticket holders to "print tickets in order to avoid any delays at the gates."
Some items, inluding umbrellas, are not allowed in the stadium. There will be dedicated areas near the entry gates where you will be able to store your umbrella and retrieve it after the match.
