LG bestows certificate of best practice on Jumbo Electronics After Sales Service

Doha: Jumbo Electronics, the distributor for all LG electronics and appliances in Qatar recently presented some of its after-sales service best practices at the annual LG Middle East & Africa Distributors Service Conference. All authorised after-sales service distributors in the GCC region were present. 

Jumbo Electronics was awarded for its Best Practice towards management of customer service calls. Sanghyeon Park, Managing Director for LG, MEA Service division presented the award to Shanmugha Sundaram, After Sales Service Head, Jumbo Electronics. 

In its presentation it showcased some of the measures it had taken in the past year to improve customer service satisfaction. 

First and foremost, the company inducted skilled technicians with product specific speciality. 

It improved employee motivation by launching a performance linked incentive program that focused on quality of work done. 

Spare parts inventory levels were corrected to keep the frequently required parts easily available. Service call received were also answered in the shortest duration possible and overall customer engagement by the technicians were improved. 

“We are continuously innovating towards meeting customer expectations. Over the years, we have invested in our people through skill development, processes and systems to exceed the expectations of brands as well as of our customers,” said CV Rappai, Director & CEO, Jumbo Electronics. 

This is the third award that Jumbo Electronics has received from LG pertaining to service operations and performance. 

Earlier this year, it also won the Best Performer Service Award in the region for the year 2018 which was the second year in a row that it had won the award. Prior to that one of its technicians also won the Grand Master title award at the regional as well as the global level at the LG Service Skill Olympiad.
