Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 20

September 23, 2022, at 6pm
Hamilton International School Theatre, Mesaimeer

Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra brings Mozart’s Piano Concerto in D Minor - one of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's few works written in a minor key and represents his stormiest concerto. Regarded by 19th-century critics as Beethoven-like, it's the first of six stunning pieces composed for piano and orchestra between 1785 and 1786.
Enjoy a relaxing Friday night as the first Steinway artist in the Middle East Sonja Park joins the orchestra’s conductor Andreas Weiser and the Philharmonic.
Ticket prize starts from QR 100 at QTickets, only a few are left. Please note that below 6 years old will not be admitted into the venue.

One Tiger or Another Exhibition

Saturday to Thursday: 9am to 7pm; Friday: 1:30pm to 7pm
Mathaf: Arab Museum of Modern Art

A Rubaiyat Qatar exhibition brings you Singaporean contemporary artist and filmmaker Ho Tzu Nyen's last piece of a series of artworks dealing with tigers in Southeast Asia. The exhibition features artifacts relating to the legend of Tipu Sultan, the Tiger of Mysore, who is one of the most famous and polarizing figures in South Asian history.
You'll find a cannon, a contemporary multichannel video installation, eighteenth-century paintings, and contemporary comic books, exploring the creative potential of art and media as a means of storytelling, and history as the product of both fact and fiction.
