As the most-anticipated FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 is fast approaching, Qatar is gearing up to provide even more for the fans with 14 exciting events that will take place concurrently.
Qatar Tourism announced on its official social media pages the activities wherein it said: “With just under #100DaysToGo until the #FIFAWorldCupQatar2022 we bring you some more exciting events.”
Football fans can enjoy an array of activities during the most prestigious event. Among included are B12 Beach Club Doha, a prime beach club in West Bay, offering exquisite indoor and outdoor restaurants; Al Sidral Beach, a youth-oriented, sunrise to sunset beach with kiosks featuring different cuisines, both beaches are located at West Bay North Beach, and will be open from October 15 to March 31, 2023.
Lusail Winter Wonderland, an IMG theme park at Al Maha Island will host and offer over 50 games and rides for all ages, this is from November 1 to December 31. Celebrate the country’s performing arts and incredible architecture with local and international artists at Festival in Motion from November 5 to 18 at public spaces and heritage sites. Overlooking the sea and Doha’s skyline, Corniche Activations from November 14 to December 18 is a festival representing cultures of countries participating in the World Cup.
A FIFA Fan Festival is all set from November 17 to December 18 at Al Bidda Park. This is a mega event for all football enthusiasts, offering great food, music, entertainment, and more. To enable fans of the World Cup to practice various sports and youth activities away from the city crowds, ‘Our Story’ will be held at Al Thakira, Sealine, Al Qalayel, and Al Wakra Old Market from November 18 to December 18.
Feel the beat at the music festival of epic proportions at ARAVIA by MDL Beast happening at Al Wakra, from November 20 to December 18. Meanwhile, the Lusail Boulevard from November 20 to December 20 will offer a variety of attractions, food stalls and retail stores, the location is close to the Lusail Metro station and facing Lusail Stadium.
Enjoy a beach club life and fabulous football by Doha’s glistening waterfront at 974 Beach Club located near Stadium 974, from November 20 to December 20.
Arcadia Spectacular at Ras Abu Fontas is an A-list line-ups from the global stage of techno and house music, happening on November 21 to December 21.
The annual performing arts festival showcasing talent from Qatar and the region will also be held dubbed D’reeshaa Performing Arts Festival at Education City-Oxygen Park, from December 11 to 17. The Darb Al Saai Event is all geared up from December 12 to 20 at Umm Salal Muhammed.
It is one of the annual events accompanying Qatar National Day celebration. And fashionistas, and music lovers shouldn’t miss the Qatar Fashion United by CR Runway on December 16 at 974 Stadium.
The event will be held between the matches and will celebrate fashion, art, music and more like never before.
