Doha: President of the State Audit Bureau H E Abdulaziz bin Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Emadi, who is also the Chairman of the Executive Council of the Arab Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (ARABOSAI), praised the strength the organization showed in the face of crises resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic.
He was giving a speech during the inauguration of the 63rd meeting of the Executive Council, hosted by the State Audit Bureau, that the organization continues to work hard on implementing its programmes despite current conditions, thanks to the efforts of all members.
He highlighted that the organization succeeded in enhancing the e-learning platform, strengthening its partnership with relevant parties, activating communication channels in order to promote the its achievements at the international level, and promoting the benefits of technological progress by forming working group concerned with information technology oversight. He said that the organization has also succeeded in terms of implementing its programmes, thanks to its commitment to enhancing cooperation and to the performance of member agencies. Al Emadi said that efforts are ongoing to ensure the organization achieves its objectives. He expressed his thanks to the team charged with implementing the package of initiatives approved with the professionalism required for the efforts of the General-Secretariat to provide support and assistance necessary during the various stages of implementation.
He also expressed his hope for the organization to get even more done in the coming period, noting that the next strategic plan for the period 2023-2028, which is being prepared, will serve as a roadmap for future stations in order to enhance the professionalism and excellence of the organization.
