Ministry of Municipality and Environment has closed all parks and public beaches in order to curb the spread of coronavirus (Covid19) until further notice.
The Ministry has also decided to end the camping season for this year starting tomorrow March 22.
The Ministry said on Twitter that “Within the framework of preventive measures and precautionary measures taken by the state to limit the spread of Corona Virus (Covid19), the Ministry of Municipality and Environment has decided to close all parks and public beaches until further notice, in order to ensure the safety of its visitors, with our wishes for health and safety for all.”
Ministry had earlier closed children’s play area inside the park. They had also closed Al Khor Park and Dahlul-Hamam Family Park.
