Doha: Hyatt Plaza recently held two workshops in collaboration with local organisations to provide engaging and educational experiences for children and families
The Robotics Workshop, held from January 26 to February 18, was attended by over 2,000 participants. Children aged 5-14 were introduced to the basics of robotics, including programming and mechanics. The workshop was designed to encourage creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork.
Participants had the opportunity to build and program their own robots and compete in fun challenges. The event was well-received by both parents and children, with many expressing interests in future workshops.
In addition, Hyatt Plaza also hosted an Art & Craft Workshop on same period. The workshop provided a space for children to express their creativity and explore different artistic mediums. Over 1,500 participants, ranging from ages 1-14, had the opportunity to create their own unique art pieces using a variety of materials.
The workshop was focused on promoting individuality and self-expression, and encouraged children to experiment with different techniques.
“We’re thrilled to have had the opportunity to host these workshops in our shopping centre. Our goal is to provide our community with engaging and educational experiences that the whole family can enjoy. We look forward to continuing to work with local organisations to bring more events like this to Doha,” said Mohammed Al Hawamdeh, Head of Marketing.
