Doha: Iranian President H E Ebrahim Raisi arrived in Doha, Qatar on an official visit and the Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received him at the airport
Also present to welcome HE President of Iran were a number of Their Excellencies the Ministers, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Islamic Republic of Iran HE Mohammed bin Hamad Al Hajri and Iranian Ambassador to the State HE Hamid Reza Dehghani.
The Amir and the Iranian President will discuss at the Amiri Diwan the relations between the two countries and the prospects for their development, in addition to a number of issues of common concern.
The Iranian President will attend a regional gas conference in Doha.
The visit is the first by an Iranian President to Qatar in eleven years and this is his third foreign trip since taking office.
