DOHA: Qatar International Islamic Bank (QIIB) is looking to set up a $2bn sukuk programme. The Bank’s Board has submitted its recommendation to the general assembly for authorising it to go ahead with the programme. QIIB is scheduled to hold its AGM on Sunday, March 10, 2013. In the absence of a quorum, the alternative meeting will be held on March 13, 2013, a Qatar Exchange filing noted.
