Doha: The joint committee formed from the committees of legal and legislative affairs, and financial and economic affairs of the Shura Council held a meeting today, in the presence of H E Dr Hamda bint Hassan Al-Sulaiti, Vice-President of the Council.
During the meeting, chaired by H E Abdulrahman bin Yousef Al-Khulaifi, Chairman of the Joint Committee, the committee continued discussing the two draft laws "Social Insurance and Military Retirement", as it studied the rest of the articles of the two projects.
At the end of the meeting, the committee confirmed that it would continue to study the two projects by holding intensive and continuous meetings, with a view to completing them as soon as possible.
