beIN SPORTS to begin airing ‘Welcome to Qatar’ exclusive series tomorrow

Doha: beIN MEDIA GROUP and its flagship sports channel beIN SPORTS have announced they will broadcast an exclusive monthly series called ‘Welcome to Qatar’ as the global broadcaster prepares to host the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar. 

As the official broadcaster and the home of the FIFA World Cup across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), beIN SPORTS’ series ‘Welcome to Qatar’ will take viewers and subscribers on an incredible journey across the country as Qatar prepares to host one of the biggest sporting competitions in the world.

The first episode of the series  which airs tomorrow will witness Qatar and Al Duhail’s Almoez Ali and Ismail Mohamed take viewers on an exclusive tour around Qatar as they go to fascinating landmarks in the country. The desert of Sealine, the mangroves, the National Museum of Qatar, and The Pearl-Qatar are among the places which will be featured in this episode. 

The two players will also take viewers on a tour to four incredible FIFA World Cup stadiums, including the Al Bayt Stadium, Al Thumama Stadium, and the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar final stadium in Lusail.

The ‘Welcome to Qatar’ series will be broadcast on the 21st of every month, starting from April 21, at 21:00 Mecca Time (GMT +3). 

The series will be shown on the beIN SPORTS 1 Premium channel in Arabic as different players from different nationalities will take viewers on tours every month and showcase Qatar’s FIFA World Cup stadiums, venues, and activities, including the importance of the legacy and the crucial role that women played in preparing for the tournament.
