Doha: Assistant Foreign Minister HE Lolwah bint Rashid Al Khater met today with a delegation from the Senate of Italy, currently visiting Qatar.
During the meeting, the bilateral cooperation relations between the two countries were reviewed, as well as ways of developing them.
The meeting discussed also the latest developments of the Ukrainian crisis and the situation in Afghanistan.
The two sides affirmed, during the meeting, the importance of the joint cooperation in delivering humanitarian aids to Ukrainian and Afghan peoples, and the need to resolve differences through constructive dialogue and diplomatic means, as well as settlement of international disputes by peaceful means.
The Minister appreciated the close cooperation between Qatar and Italy in various fields, expressing Qatar's hope to strengthen relations between the two countries.
