The Ministry of Commerce and Industry has fixed the maximum prices for selling fruits and vegetables which will be valid till March 31, 2020 and renewable.
The price bulletin listing many imported and local fruits and vegetables is issued attached with new decision.
The violators will be punished as per the law, decisions and regulations in place in this regards, the Ministry has tweeted.
It is mandatory for all outlets to abide by the prices mentioned in the bulletin. In case of violations, the legal actions will be taken against the erring outlets.
The Ministry asked the people to call on hotline 16001 if they come across any violaitons.
