Doha: The drop in temperature at night and early morning is expected to continue till the weekend.
Qatar Meteorology Department tweeted that the temperature will fluctuate between 23 degree Celsius and 14 degree Celsius the next three days.
“We note the need to avoid access to the sea due to the continued marine warning with strong winds, which now exceeds 33 knots according to the latest observations with high waves ranging from 7-12 feet,” the weather bureau said.
Weather inshore until 6 pm on Wednesday will be moderate temperature daytime with slight dust and some clouds, warning of strong wind expected over some areas, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report.
Offshore, it will be scattered clouds at first, becoming fine later, warning of strong wind and high sea, report added.
Wind inshore will be northwesterly 12 to 22 knot with gusting to 28 knot at some places reduces by night to 05 to 15 knot.
Offshore, it will be northwesterly 18 to 28 knot, gusting to 37 knot at some places at first.
Visibility will be 4 to 08 kilometers.
Sea state inshore will be 2 to 4 feet, rises to 5 feet at times. Offshore, it will be 5 to 9 feet rises to 13 feet at some places at first.
