DOHA: Bedaya Center for Entrepreneurship and Career Development (Bedaya Center), a joint initiative by Qatar Development Bank and Silatech, is taking part at the ‘Chocolate, Tea and Coffee’ festival taking place at the Sheraton Park from January 31 until February 9.

Bedaya’s participation in the festival is to introduce the finest coffee, tea and chocolate brands and the latest products related to this industry to the local market. A host of prestigious and specialized companies in this field and a group of international trainers specialised and experienced are also participating in this ten-day event to raise awareness and skills for those interested in this sector. 

This is the second time Bedaya is taking part in this festival, marking the culmination of partnership between the Center and Four & One, the festival’s organizer. 

Through this partnership, emerging businesses will have the opportunity to showcase their food products related to coffee, tea and chocolate, supporting the relentless efforts of Bedaya to support entrepreneurs by showcasing and promoting their products and allowing them to easily reach consumers, thereby contributing to the growth and the development of their business.

For this year’s edition, Bedaya will be providing start-up prices to startup businesses as well as the opportunity for other projects to showcase their products at Dukan Bedaya which will be also present at the festival.

Bedaya will offer 12 slots, either stands or free space for startups business in an area dedicated for Bedaya and will also offer the opportunity for 20 other startups to showcase their products at Dukan Bedaya.  

On this occasion, Reem Al-Sowaidi, General Manager of Bedaya Center, said: “We would like to thank Fernando De Guama, General Manager of Four & One, the organizers of the festival, for the valuable partnership with Bedaya Centre and his continuous support for local startups. This partnership has facilitated entrepreneurs to showcase their products and participate with their projects in all events organized by them”.

“The CTC (Chocolate, Tea and Coffee) festival provides an opportunity for entrepreneurs interested in this field to showcase and promote their goods or participate with their own projects to demonstrate their production and marketing capabilities. 

The festival will provide them with promising opportunities, especially after the great success achieved by the festival last year, by providing a family atmosphere with a combination of family fun and business.” she added.
