Doha: Regency Travel & Tours celebrated Qatar National Day with great enthusiasm and unabashed feelings of patriotism. Celebrations began early in the day for Regency Travel and Tours; with all its employees congregated at the head office at Al Sadd for a customary group photo.
Regency head office and branch offices were decked up in white and burgundy colors, which depict the colors of Qatar national flag. Tareq Abdullatif Taha, CEO of Regency Travel and Tours, expressed his congratulations and wishes to Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Father Amir H H Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani on the occasion.
“Celebrating the National Day is a great occasion for Qatari people, and expats alike, as a way to express their love and loyalty towards this progressive country. This is an opportunity to express our gratitude to its inspiring leadership and commit our loyalty towards the State of Qatar,” he said.
He added, “Qatar National Day is an occasion to reminisce historical events, and the foundation of unity that this nation is built upon. It is an occasion to remember the rich past and look towards a bright future of Qatar; and the common goal to attain leading position amongst the developed nations. Owing to our strong economic base, invaluable human capital, value system, our scientific resources and research capabilities, we are all committed towards achieving the Qatar National Vision (QNV) 2030.”
Speaking on the occasion, N M Shafiq, General Manager of Regency said, “The celebrations reflect core message of unity on which this nation was built, and encourages its residents to continue to move towards a prosperous future, while instilling a sense of togetherness and promoting national identity and pride. It is a great opportunity for all our employees, working in various locations, to come together under one roof to exchange greetings and celebrate this joyous day.”
