Doha: The Museum of Islamic Art (MIA), in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has developed a programme for Aghan refugee families in Qatar.
As part of the programme, MIA’s Learning and Outreach Department is delivering art workshops, library sessions, calligraphy tutorials, a team-based competition and movie screenings in Arabic, English, Farsi and Urdu.
The tailored programme aims to impart new skills and empower refugees, who are able to tell their stories through poetry and other creative outlets.
