Doha, Qatar: In a reaffirmation of the trust placed in his leadership during the first electoral cycle, Mubarak bin Abdullah Al Sulaiti has been re-elected by acclamation as Chairman of the Qatar Lawyers Association’s Board of Directors for a second consecutive term. The decision was made during the inaugural meeting of the newly elected Board.

The results of the elections at the regular General Assembly meeting held on February 5, 2025 resulted in the victory of Lawyer Mubarak bin Abdullah Al Sulaiti, Lawyer Sheikh Dr. Thani bin Ali Al Thani, Lawyer Mona Yousef Al Mutawa, Lawyer Abdulrahman bin Ibrahim Al Mahmoud, Lawyer Mohammed bin Lahdan Al Mohannadi, Lawyer Issa bin Mohammed Al Sulaiti, Lawyer Dr. Jadnan bin Mohammed Al Hajri, Lawyer Asma Muftah Al Ghanim, and Lawyer Hassan bin Abdulaziz Al Obaidli.

In the elected board’s first meeting, held on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, Lawyer Mubarak bin Abdullah Al Sulaiti was nominated as Chairman of the Board for a second presidential term extending until March 28, 2028.

During the same meeting, Lawer Mona Yousef Al Mutawa was nominated as Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors, Lawer Abdulrahman bin Ibrahim Al Mahmoud as Secretary, and Lawer Asmaa Muftah Al Ghanim as Treasurer.

Al Sulaiti expressed his pride in the trust placed in him by the members of the Association and the members of the elected Council, stressing that this trust is nothing but the result of the continuous efforts and reforms that the Association witnessed under his leadership in the previous period.
