Doha: The Ministry of Social Development and Family (MSDF), represented by the Family Empowerment Department, in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture (MoC), participated in “Al Baraha” event through the national productive projects “Home Grown”.
The event commenced in multiple locations on February 13 and will continue until February 22, taking place in venues such as the Heritage Communication Park in Al Khor City and Qatar Energy’s Baraha in Dukhan City.
The event featured national productive projects, including heritage projects specializing in handicrafts, printing, various forms of painting, textiles, hospitality, perfumes, coffee, and different types of food, including traditional Qatari dishes, ice creams, sweets, and souvenirs.
Regarding the event, MSDF’s Director of the Family Empowerment Department stated that the Ministry’s efforts continue in line with the pillars of Qatar National Vision 2030 to support the productive projects “Home Grown”.
She highlighted that these efforts include marketing the products of these national productive projects at strategic locations, festivals, events, and exhibitions organised by the State.
