Doha: At the invitation of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, the President of Liberia, George Weah, arrived in Doha today to attend the opening ceremony of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 which takes place at Al Bayt Stadium on Sunday.
The Liberian president and the accompanying delegation were welcomed upon arrival at Hamad International Airport by the Minister of Sports and Youth H E Salah bin Ghanim Al Ali, and Charges D'affaires of the Embassy of Liberia to Qatar Ali Sylla.
