The Amir HHSheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani held Thursday evening a telephone conversation with President of the European Commission HE Ursula von der Leyen.
During the call, they discussed cooperation relations between the State of Qatar and the international organization and ways to enhance and develop them, in addition to exchanging views on regional and international developments, especially the developments in Afghanistan.
In this regard, the President of the European Commission expressed her thanks to HH the Amir for the effective contribution of the State of Qatar to the evacuation of European nationals from Kabul.
