An interesting weekend is here with lots of entertainment events and activities lined up. Al Khor Fly In
Civil Aviation Authority and Qatar Flying Club have organised a free public event at the Al Khor Airport. There will be drone displays, formation flying, acrobatic shows and parachute jumps at the ninth annual Al Khor Fly-In.

Doha's Jewellery and Watches Exhibition Doha’s Jewellery and Watches Exhibition (DJWE) organised by Qatar Tourism Authority will return in 2016 at the new Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC). For the first time since its inception, the DJWE will feature jewellery and watches workshops for enthusiasts and designers to learn from experts on creating their own pieces. A number of educational seminars on jewellery and watches will also be held throughout the week, enabling an even finer discernment of quality pieces.
In parallel, the DJWE is offering free, on the spot, gem assessment provided by the International Gemological Institute, the DJWE’s laboratory and education partner, for visitors looking to validate the quality of their stones. DJWE permits exhibitors to sell directly to the public. Visitors to DJWE will be able to survey and select from a wide range of exquisite jewellery and watches – investments that they will undoubtedly adore for decades. This year, pearls and men’s watches will feature prominently, with specially crafted visitor routes to facilitate easy navigation between exhibiting brands.

Halal Qatar Festival: Katara
Anxious to revive the Qatari heritage, Katara is hosting the fifth Halal Qatar Festival (goats and sheep). The festival includes Almzaan and barns and auction, in addition to a large number of accompanying activities like games, traditional food, old market and heritage tent.

Medina Centrale 'Family Fun Fridays
Pearl Qatar has many interesting family activities planned at the Medina Centrale. There are jugglers, stilt walkers and cartoon characters to entertain your little ones along with activities like kids painting and face painting also arranged for them to participate. This is the last weekend for the event.

Food cooked using in different sauces, soy, sesame, crisp vegetables and juicy meats all find a place in Chinese cooking. If you relish various chinese delicacies, then head to Dragon Mart on Barwa Commercial Avenue where Qatar's first Chinese food festival is being held.
