This year’s National Day is more special as these celebrations come after almost two years of precautionary measures imposed to limit the spread COVID-19. A significant decline in number of coronavirus cases and increased economic activity has boosted the sentiments in the local market.

Hotels and restaurants are offering specially-crafted menu for Qatar National Day while there are special rates for staycation packages.
For those looking to fly, Qatar Airways has announced a National Day promotion which gives passengers the opportunity to enjoy exclusive fares on their future travel and explore amazing travel experiences with discounted offers and enhanced benefits. Under the promotion, the national carrier of Qatar is offering an exclusive promotion with up to 35 percent off on all-inclusive fares to more than 140 destinations, available from December 12 to 18, for travel between December 26 this year and June 15 next year.
QIIB has also unveiled new retail financing products on the occasion of Qatar National Day, including personal and vehicle finance, in partnership with Qatar Airways Privilege Club.
The new personal and vehicle finance allows QIIB customers or customers of other banks who wish to transfer their salaries and liabilities to QIIB, to receive personal and vehicle Finance at a competitive annual rate.
Dukhan Bank has launched a first limited-edition of eco-friendly prepaid card in Qatar, inspired by National Day. The bank has also launched a new campaign for personal finance.
