Bhavan’s Public School celebrated ‘Arab Environment Day’ recently. The students and teachers of Eco-club along with their principal Dr G Manulal harvested watermelon, beans, brinjals and bitter gourd from their school vegetable garden. This was the sixth vegetable harvest after its commencement by the students in June 2011, as a part of Go Green project. The watermelons were cut and distributed to the parents, students and staff members.
The chief guest K M Arunan, International Representative - Royal Society of Chemistry, Chief Chemist and Head of Chemical Laboratory - Gulf labs, conducted a presentation on ‘Green Chemistry (towards a sustainable civilisation)’.
