Doha: The Ministry of Labour began holding training courses for job seekers in private sector institutions and companies as part of its programme aimed at Qatarisation jobs in the private sector.
Holding these training courses comes as part of the efforts of the Ministry of Labour to qualify national human cadres and provide the necessary training to develop their skills to increase the chances of their involvement in the labour market with local private sector institutions and companies, as well as within the framework of the first phase of the programme for Qatarisation of jobs in the private sector that was announced recently, given that Qatarization of jobs is one of the main priorities of the Ministry, with the aim of benefiting from the national workforce and opening new horizons in major private sector companies.
The training courses that were attended by about 86 applicants and those wishing to work in the private sector through the national employment platform “Kawader” covered many skills and basics that will develop and qualify national human cadres.
The ministry noted that it is constantly consulting with private sector institutions to increase the percentage of Qatarisation of jobs through qualifying and training national cadres in addition to knowing the local market’s need for the private sector of national cadres.
The ministry renewed the call to Qatari job seekers wishing to work in the private sector to apply for jobs offered through the national employment platform “Kawader” and to take advantage of the benefits offered by private sector establishments to citizens within the job Qatarisation programme.
