Doha: Qatar is likely to witness rains from Thursday until the start of next week, the Met Department said in a tweet today, May 16.
The latest weather forecast from Qatar Meteorology Department said the amount of clouds is expected to increase beginning Thursday, May 18, until the start of next week, when the weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy with chances of rain of varying intensity.
The Department also stated that the weather may become thundery in some places at some times with sudden strong winds.
The wind will mainly be southeasterly to northeasterly direction from light to moderate in speed, reaching strong with thundery rain.
The Civil Aviation Authority urges everyone to take precautions and follow all safety guidelines during this weather condition and receive weather updates only from official sources.
