Doha: The country will continue to experience slight dust to blowing dust at times, and relatively cold nights during the weekend, according to the forecast by Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD).
Over the weekend, the lowest temperature will range between 13°C and 19°C, while the maximum temperature will range between 20°C and 24°C.
On Friday (February 17), strong wind and high waves offshore are expected. The wind will blow Northwesterly at 18-28 KT, gusting to 35 KT at places at times. The sea height ranges between 10-14 FT.
On Saturday (February 18), strong wind and high waves offshore are expected. The wind will blow Northwesterly at 15-25 KT, gusting to 32 KT at places at times. The sea height ranges between 7-13 FT.
QMD also issued a marine warning during this period for inshore and offshore, reminding the public to avoid marine activities.
