Doha: Ideal Indian School celebrated Children’s Day with great enthusiasm. Students were allowed to wear casual dresses which provided a colourful ambience to the school campus. Special assemblies were organised in all the Sections of the school where both the teachers and the students spoke on the life and contributions of Jawaharlal Nehru, the great visionary leader.
In the special morning assembly, teachers of the KG section spoke about Chacha Nehru and his dreams. In the Junior section, Headmistress Shobhana Menon addressed the children, while the teachers presented various cultural programme. This was followed by GK quiz and games such as passing the parcel, musical chair and bursting the balloons.
The Girls’ section celebrated the Children’s Day in the theme “Enjoy Your Childhood, Cherish the Memories Tomorrow”. A special skit was presented by the teachers based on the theme. Meanwhile the boys took part in Cricket and Football matches.
