Doha: The Qatar Concert Choir (QCC) will be performing its first public concert this 2023 entitled A Musical Mosaic.

The concert will take place on March 21, 7pm at the United School International Auditorium at The-Pearl Qatar.

Giovanni Pasini, the artistic director and conductor of the Qatar Concert Choir which is the country’s leading adult choral ensemble, said that the concert will be a magnificent musical journey of songs that everyone will love.

“Our singers are so versatile – they really enjoy singing a variety of styles. This concert demonstrates their ability, but at the same time, it’s a lot of fun,” said Pasini.

The concert will present a range of music and style from different countries – from ancient Arabian melodies through to Disney musicals, from opera to the rock opera of Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody, all the way through the English Renaissance to modern American musicals, and to French opera and the glorious harmonies of the German Brahms.

The performance will include guest performances by Soprano and Opera singer Fabienne Conrad, the Cinemoon Ensemble String Quartet, part of Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra, and Percussionist George Oro, and Accompanist Claire Martin-Mayeur.
