Baghdad: The Iraqi army confirmed the killing of seven ISIS militants in an F-16 airstrike targeting their hideout in northern Iraq.
In a statement today, the Joint Operations Command reported that security forces discovered the bodies of the militants in an area between Salahuddin and Kirkuk provinces, following the air raid two days ago.
The search operation also led to the seizure of explosive belts, weapons, logistical supplies, and other equipment. Iraqi forces, backed by air support, continue large-scale operations against ISIS militants in remote and mountainous regions northeast of Baghdad.
