Ibhar Exhibitions and Conferences announces La Maison Furniture and Decor Exhibition

Exhibition to take place between May 9-13, in cooperation with the Tunisian International Company

Ibhar Exhibitions and Conferences, in cooperation with the Tunisian International Company, has recently announced the first edition of the La Maison Furniture and Decor Exhibition, which will be held in the period between May 9-13, 2023, at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC), with the participation of 18 countries and more than 120 leading companies specialized in hotels, palaces and residential interiors.

The announcement was made during a press conference held at the Pullman Doha Hotel, attended by a group of ambassadors of the participating countries, businessmen and sponsors of this huge event, in addition to a number of representatives of local media and social media.

Dr. Moyasser Seddig, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ibhar Company for Organizing International Exhibitions and Conferences, confirmed that La Maison Expo is a launching pad for future investments and endeavors, and it is an integrated exhibition that offers premium furnishings and interiors. In addition, the exhibition will feature the offerings of internationally and locally renowned interior designers, and will bring them all under one roof, which will offer a practical solution for enthusiasts in Qatar, and which eventually save them a lot of effort, time, and money in seeking out their desired interiors.

Dr. Karim Moyasaer Siddig, CEO of Abhar Projects Group, stated: “The La Maison exhibition will have distinguished international participation from several countries such as Turkey, Italy, France, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, China, India, Iran, and several African and American countries in addition to countries from South America, and there will be strong participation from Arab and Gulf countries such as Egypt, Jordan, Tunisia, Morocco, Algeria, Libya and the Arab Emirates, adding that the exhibition is an opportunity for enthusiasts to discover new designers, exchange experiences and bilateral partnerships that provide research efforts as all Opportunities for all.”

Ms. Basma Al Hamaidi, Head of the Tunisian International Company, the international partner of the exhibition, and a company that specializes in organizing international exhibitions, stated: “We are honored to collaborate with Abhar Company on organizing premium exhibitions that offer patrons the best interior services and solutions. This exhibition is also a product of 20 years of experience in organizing international exhibitions, and we are pleased to offer our expertise along with that of Ibhar’s in service of the market in the State of Qatar.”

Ms. Melita, a real estate marketing consultant, confirmed: "The exhibition features seven large sectors distributed over 20 exhibiting platforms that include a large variety of elite interiors that suit varying tastes."

Dr. Moyasser Seddig concluded his speech by saying: “There is a great role for specialized exhibitions in supporting the economic sector, as they attract tourists, which in turn supports airlines, hotels, restaurants, malls and other vital industries in the State of Qatar.”

He also pointed out that exhibition visitors are a promotional tool for tourism in Qatar, as they get to witness the great urban and developmental renaissance the country has been blessed with and get the opportunity to visit the heritage and historical sites in the State of Qatar, stressing that it leaves them with a lasting impression, which can effectively promote tourism in the country, especially following the success of the FIFA World Cup 2022.
