Doha: Celebrating World Vegan Month, Papa John’s has introduces its first 100% plant-based cheese range, Sheese, in Qatar offering more choice for flexitarian, vegan and veggie customers.
In response to a growing number of Qatari customers seeking more flexitarian options, Papa John’s will introduce plant-based cheese across all the following pizzas: Margherita is the classic pizza lover’s favourite. Rich tomato sauce and topped with Sheese.
For vegetable lovers the plant-based Vegan Garden Special is the pizza of choice.
Featuring classic pizza sauce made with vine ripened tomatoes, fresh cut tomatoes and onions, tangy green peppers black olives, mushrooms and Sheese, it packs a whole lot of vegetable goodness.
The spicy Vegan Hot Pepper is perfect for spice lovers. Topped with classic pizza sauce, crunchy red and green peppers, onions, and Sheese, with a generous portion of jalapenos and green chilli is bringing the heat to this delicious pizza. Alternatively, customers can create their own with their favourite toppings.
To make it a meal, Papa John’s will also introduce two new plant-based sides. Vegan Sheese Sticks, Papa John’s fresh dough topped with plant-based cheese, and Vegan Sheese Wedges, delicious baked potato wedges also topped with plant-based cheese.
The launch of the new plant-based options support Papa John’s new ‘Pizza Box Pledge’ global marketing campaign. The campaign film includes real team members from across the world proudly holding up pizza boxes displaying the small steps that Papa John’s has taken in different countries worldwide to plant love for the planet.
This is complemented by a global social media #pizzaboxpledge challenge asking customers what they do to plant love with the planet – also writing their responses on the inside of a Papa John’s pizza box.
