PARIS: Minister of Education and Higher Education H E Buthaina bint Ali Al Jabr Al Nuaimi met with Qatari students in France. The meeting was in the presence of Minister of Culture H E Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Hamad bin Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani.
During the meeting, H E Buthaina bint Ali Al Jabr Al Nuaimi was briefed on the students' academic and social conditions.
She also noted that the Ministry of Education and Higher Education is working hard to increase the number of students on scholarships, praising the distinguished relations between Qatar and France in various fields.
The Minister urged the students to take advantage of the opportunity of the study in these universities, and the importance of diligence so that they could easily reach the highest positions.
For their part, the students, talked about the challenges they face as scholarship students to study in France, especially academic challenges such as language, culture, etc. They also spoke about their specializations and scientific interests, and praised the academic support provided to them by the Cultural Attaché in Paris.
For his part, Minister of Culture H E Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Hamad bin Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani spoke to the students, urging them to be patient and to benefit from the experiences they experienced during study and in their daily lives as scholarship students in France, stressing the need to develop their life skills and behaviors and coexist with different cultures around them.
